Live Life in Full Bloom

The garden center at Artisans Garden was the first spark of inspiration to Gwen. When Sooke’s beloved garden centers closed down within years of each other Gwen noticed herself and the community felt the loss. Gwen was also inspired by the need for food sustainability living on the island.

With the pandemic in 2020 the garden center was able to stay open as they were considered an essential service, we decided to expand the garden center and now offer a wide variety of perennials, trees, fruit trees, seasonal annuals and vegetable starts. In the garden center giftshop you will find select fertilizers (all organic), tools, garden art, bulbs, succulents, indoor tropical plants and pots and more. We also work with Full Circle Seeds, Livin’ the Dream and other Sooke farms to provide local vegetable starts and seeds. 

Our staff are here to provide you with some tips and tricks to help you in your garden and love to learn and grow their knowledge with every question asked. The importance of gardening is not lost on our team and we love to encourage new gardeners and enable to the seasoned gardeners.
